Please take a moment to introduce yourself and explain a little about what your website offers?

Hello, my name is Stephen Badiali, and I am the owner of Wedding Ideas Guide. The website started as a side project from a wedding and event planning business that my wife, Danielle, and I run called Full Circle Bridal.

Wedding Ideas Guide offers tips, hints and advice for planning a wedding. We have many articles that highlight everything from choosing a wedding theme to picking the right wedding vendors.

The most popular feature of the website is Ask The Wedding Planner where brides and grooms get to ask us their most difficult wedding planning questions. We then provide answers and advice, and other visitors to the site can also add comments.

What made you start your website, briefly explaining any thoughts or ideas that came to you in the start of your online conquest.

We both really enjoy helping couples plan their wedding, so we thought that a website like Wedding Ideas Guide was a natural extension of our services. Now we can help couples around the world plan their big day.

The Internet is such a powerful tool that we knew we had to have an online presence to finish off our range of services. We also like interacting with brides and grooms, so allowing visitors to ask questions and interact with other visitors to the site was very important.

Your top 5 tips in planning a wedding?

Our top 5 tips are:

1. First, before doing anything else couples should always set a budget for their wedding. Take the time to create a spreadsheet of all the possible expenses for your wedding to come up with an overall wedding cost.
2. Be realistic in what you can afford. Having large credit card bills to deal with when you return from your honeymoon is not a good way to start a marriage.
3. Ask for references when choosing vendors, and always read the fine print in vendor contracts. Verify that the vendors you select are qualified, and make sure you understand every detail of the contract.
4. Start the wedding planning process early. Not only will this help with securing your first choice in wedding vendors and locations, it can also help to save money as well as reduce stress as you lead up to the big day.
5. Don’t take your wedding too seriously, and don’t try to do everything yourself. Rely on the wedding vendors you have selected for ideas and guidance. There will likely be a few things that don’t go exactly the way you had planned, but try to get past the little things and enjoy the moment while it lasts.

Your website has many useful tips and guides for couples planning their big day, can you tell me any common topics that your customers likely seek?

Wedding etiquette is always a popular topic, especially when it comes to gifts. We also receive a lot of questions about wedding themes and wedding reception planning.

You've probably had many feedback comments on all your articles, which would you say was your best comment?

It is very rewarding anytime we can help someone who has wedding planning questions, and we have received questions and comments from many great brides, grooms and family members.

We once received a message from a bride thanking us for all of the help we provided as she planned her wedding. We were able to answer several of her questions, and she was able to use a few of the articles on the website as a guide when she put all the pieces together for her big day.

There have been others, but this one was especially rewarding because we were able to help many times while she planned her wedding.
